Belonging to 2 clans - Posted Aug 24,2008 by swordfencer
Since BAY is focused on TF2, the clan leadership knows that there are other games that our members play. With that, it is possible to belong to other clans that focus on those games, for example CS, DoD, etc.

If you do happen to belong to another clan besides BAY that plays something other than TF2 please let the clan leadership know so we can avoid any issues regarding the proper use of wearing the clan tag or other problems.

Rules Review - Posted Aug 24,2008 by swordfencer
The clan leadership would like everybody to take some time to review the clan rules. The clan leadership expects not only ourselves, but our members as well to set a good example of how our clan is. Remember, your actions not only reflect on you, but the clan as a whole. We want to maintain our clan image as one of having mature members who enjoy gaming and having good, clean fun.

Please report any misconduct to any of the clan leaders. Please do not be afraid to report any misconduct and be assured that we will not let the other party know who reported them.

[BAY] members list of rights - Posted Jan 28,2008 by NuBee
1. Be treated as family in game and on the internet.

2. Be treated in a mature and civil fashion by members and leaders. Too many kiddie run clans out there!

3. Be instructed and disciplined with fairness and justice. Nothing will cause people to leave quicker if you are judged unfairly.

4. Be allowed to seek mediation. This is part of fairness. If your back is against the wall because of silliness or drama one must have some way of fixing the problem besides quitting or getting booted. Any good family has tools to resolve problems and so must this one, which is more than what you get in a dictatorship.

5. Be granted a fair trial or hearing. Another fairness issue to avoid the appearance of a dictatorship.

Competition Rules (Scrims/Practices) - Posted Dec 27,2007 by NuBee
1. You are expected to be at ALL practices. We realize that something might come up and if so you need to make sure you have one of the backups fill in for you and understand your position. Keep in mind that you can lose your starting role if you miss too many practices/matches. Be aware that this is a disruption to the core of the team you play for so if you can't be committed, let us know now.

2. Your computer must be in good working order. We cannot take the time to wait for you to reconnect cause you locked up or got disconnected. You are putting your entire team in a situation it doesn't deserve. Each of you is counting on one another.

3. Microphones only please. We will use tsay to a minimum. You must coordinate specific messages to each other to cut down unnecessary messages. (ex. "Spy Medic coming down spiral") If you wanna use some binds make them all the same for each team. Binds and voice comms will be different to an extend depending on position you play for a map.

4. Warrior attitude. No small talk during prematch/practices/matches. We don't need to hear (LOL, TY, NP, NM) save that for fun public playing. Only words or tsays that we expect to hear are strategy, information that will help your team WIN.

5. Before practice/matches. You must meet in IRC 30 minutes before it starts. This is a time to go over anything you might have forgotten or ask questions.

6. Do not put your other teammates down. If you need to tell them something that can be done better do it professionally. Cussing them or being an ass doesn't do any good cause you're on the same team.

7. Congratulate the other team by saying GG even in defeat.

Member Rules - Posted Nov 23,2007 by NuBee
Since we invite players, you should be a regular player on our server. We always have clan members playing and watching the public players so chances are, we have noticed you already.

1. Age - We don't discriminate but we hope that if you are young maturity overshadows your age?

2. Team player. If you don't understand that there is no I in team, you won't be accepted.

3. Attitude -is a must. No whining and complaining. Maintain professional attitudes while wearing clan tag on the server.

4. Loyalty - You cannot be a member of another TF2 clan, non-competitive guilds are ok.

5. The Clan Tag - Wear the clan tag in front. All members are to wear the tag in front of your name with a space afterwards. This goes hand-in-hand with the loyalty rule. ex. [BAY] Jester, [BAY] NuBee, [bay] SpooFy, [bay] Johnny Drama. Guild tags or other miscellaneous tags go after your name. ex. [BAY]Eagle|BF2LvR

6. Respect - Do not display your differences on the public server. We have a forum to settle these issues. Your actions will reflect on the entire clan.

7. Racial remarks will not be tolerated. No warning, instant removal. Admins will make a player change their name if it is racist or derogatory.

8. Communication - Use Teamspeak, Ventrillo, IRC, Xfire or email to stay in communication with the clan and especially before practce/scrimms.

9. Playing by the rules - We expect leaders and members alike to play by the rules. We also expect our members to enforce the clan rules. Please report any issues to the clan leaders.

10. Clan participation - As a clan member, do participate in the forums as well as the server. While you do not have to post everyday, we do expect our members to stop in the forums and read up on changes and other current events. Also, by participating more, we get to learn more about each other, so do not be shy!
